My new Schleich white bison :)

I really love new Schleich bison but I have two so I made my very own white bizon :)

I am very impressed how you have given it the shades that many "white" bison has.

Now I wonder about the genetics, especially the eye colour   
Googling for photoes, I see some very light ones with blue eyes and some more yellowish with dark eyes , - I have not found one with red eyes ( Albino) .

In Wikipedia they mention three possible causes for an adult bison being white, and the only ones with dark eyes should be crosses with tame cattle...it does not fit with the many photoes   

But as far as I can see, there has been no genetic serious research yet...

Perhaps some of our expert googlers can find more about the subject ?

Martin, very nice white bison but as Christophe, I hope someone repaint the new Safari white bison in brown. I am sure it will look as nice as yours.

It's a gorgeous repaint, Martin! For brown buffaloes I like the ones with patches of golden fur being shed, which is rare I find depicted in figures.
