| Does this go for harvesting dolphins too? This is great news, especially if it can spread to the practice of dolphin herding/"harvest" and killing sharks for their fins too. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. Paige, I don't think this has anything to do with dolphin herding, so maybe that will continue, unfortunately. I doubt there is much that can be done to prevent the killing of sharks for their fins because that practice is very lucrative and practiced in many many regions of the world... |

| I guess I will just have to keep hoping. I hate the idea of shark fin hunting because they don't normally put the poor thing out its misery after they take its fins, so it either bleeds out, drowns, or gets eaten by other sharks. And the dolphin thing is terrible too for several reasons, but to me as far as ethics go they should stop because dolphins have a lot of mercury in they're bodies that builds up and its actually been linked to health problems in Japan, especially amongst kids. Anyways, its still good news that the whaling will stop, that's at least a start. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs.
