| Hi, MiniZoo ! Good to see you back Ohh! Such a delicate and beautyful model of a delicate and beautyful creature It almost breaks my heart to know that this lovely species is critically endangered ! Let's hope that the zoos succeed to keep a healthy breeding stock, untill people get wiser and we are able to preserve them in the wild ! |

| Looking very good I think this Dama gazelle is interesting model to do… You did the long neck just the right length like this picture. Your gazelle looks very powerful, ready to escape! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I'm very happy you decided to show it for us. I can't wait to see it finished _________________ Jonas Animals are my friends. | Delicate animal figures are always excelent ideas to 3d projects as long as materials are good enough to keep it in good shape. That is a great work and welcome back! |

| I won't be making copies (this model is a commission so I must respect that). My aim is eventually to purchase a high detail 3D scanner with which to scan my sculptures & create 3D models that can be uploaded to Shapeways, but it is an expensive proposition!
Thankyou Jonesee for sharing the photograph - straightaway I see areas I could improve, but at 1:22 scale is tricky to get all of the detail I would like.
Hopefully will be painted very soon. Thankyou everyone for your compliments. _________________ - Tahnaya [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] https://www.minizoo.com.au/ |

....
3D scans are fine and beautyful, but I think your hand made models are SO charming and beautyful and unique ! You ( and others) give them a special, personal look, that a scan can not obtain No offence meant, of course !!!! It is only my humble opinion |

| After some great feedback on my original sculpt I went back to the drawing board and did a new version of the Dama which I'm much happier with. You can see a full story and photos of the making of the Dama here... https://www.facebook.com/JasonSmit.ClaySculpting My next project is some new figures for Science & Nature who have placed a great deal of trust in me and I'm very excited to get started on it.
