Przewalski gazelle 1:20

Tibetan plateau series continues... Very Happy

Mi next work is one of the smaller figures. Advised by our friend Numaan, this is the Przewalski gazelle (Procapra przewalski). It is a very peculiar gazelle with a particularly strange face, looking almost hare, a little big head and very characteristic horns. The winter coat becomes too long, light and thick...

After change a bit the size of the head and finished modeling work the figure is completed and ready to begin the work of making the mold and painted..

Przewalski's gazelle finished painting. With characteristic peculiar own head of their gender (Procapra). This is a gazelle in extreme danger of extinction, still living in a very small area although China previously spread across the Tibetan plateau (China, Mongolia ..)

Pretty little figure.
Very well done!

But something's wrong with the painted nostrils. scratch

They shouldn't be touching the upper lip.
But that's an easy fix.

Uffff! It's a tiny figure! Great pose: it looks a bit like being crouched (a very typical body expression of these small prey species). Congratulations for such an interesting species!
