| Hi All, I have started (continued an Old collection) collecting some of the major brands figures, It is a bit difficult for me to get the animals since I can't get then in my country - therefore I order them through the internet. My collection is based on proportional scaling of which each animal should be in that aspect ratio of Schliech animals (of which I found them with a reasonable proportions). I have got two figures that I have missed in my collection and they are TOO BIG to meet the right proportion - I truly need to find them in a smaller scale - if exist. These are the two that I have: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]AND... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Wildebeest is bigger then my lion and it looks like It out of all other animals proportions. Also the Hyena is bigger then my White Rhino. I would be happy to get smaller sized Hyena and wildebeest that would be set up in the right scale with my other animals. I also got a HUGE platypus that I could not find any smaller one. I'm also thinking on getting [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] - Is it Big?? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] - How is this bear compared with the one from Schliech? Which is better? And this [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I have more that I am interest on bying - But I would be happy to know about the above first. Can someone post pictures of them next to Schliech animals that I will understand the scaling. It is hard for me since I get them on line and I can only see them in pictures (I have not find someone else that collect these in my country) I would be happy if some one can recommand a good On Line Store that I can get all major brands from - You can email me a private message. Thank you! Arye |

| Subject: I do Like Hippos - Don't you? Sat May 03, 2014 11:46 pm | |
| Hi All, I have got the latest Hippo from Sch. and I truly thinks that it is a great creation BUT it has something with the mouth that I can't put my finger on. It looks O.K. But IMHO I think there is a need to change the mouth opening to make it more realistic. Nevertheless I like it and I already have it in my collection. My question is: I have seen that there is a new Hippo in town from PAPO. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And I would like to know how is it next to the Sch. Hippo. Can some one please post a picture of both next to each other? I would really appreciate - I buy my models upon your replies and comments. You guidance help me a lot in buying my models. Thanks Arye |

| The Yak and the bear are in a "good" scale, about the same scale like the Schleich ones. I think they are something for you. Maybe you also can find something interessing for you here |

| Thanks. Is there a possibility that I can see both Polar bears next to each other? And what about the last figure - is it OK?
I would be glad to get a new Hyena and Wildebeest to replace the ones I have. I would be happy if you could help me with a good On Line shop that I can use. Thank you! |

| Subject: African Elephant and Asian Elephant (Sch, Safari Ltd. and PAPO are there more?) Sun May 04, 2014 9:19 am | |
| Hi all, I am so happy to get all your help and knowledge helping me getting more animals to my collection. As I have mentioned before I rely only upon pictures and your replies for my questions since I have not found any other collector in my country yet - that I can see the models "live" :) I would be happy if someone can help me with Elephants. I have already got the one from sch. - African Elephant. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This one from PAPO - is it same scale? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I would be happy to see it next to the African one from Sch. Also Asian:(I don't have any - Planning on getting one, Sch or PAPO?) PAPO looks wonderful: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And so does Sch Asian one too. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And they also have a female: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]that's great!!! :) This one is from Safari Ltd. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and also this one: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And Asian: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]IMHO the Safari does not look detailed and well done as the one from PAPO and Sch. Not sure about my call - since I rely ONLY on Pictures that I find on the web.I want to get another Elephant - It looks like the one I have tops all others small ones and need to have a friend from the same level. can some one help me with choosing my next Elephant (Asian also - One from each) - I do have already the African Elephant from Sch. Thanks for your help. Arye |

| I have no Schleich African elephants so I can't show you comparision pics. Nevertheless here is a pic of the Papo one and a comparison pic with a Safari Ltd elephant. About the Asian elephants, I made a walkaround followed by an excellent discussion in the past. It is [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Maybe it could help you ? My thought about this: The Schleich have a lot of details, more than any others but the proportions are very wrong, toooooo big heads for the body and tooooo short legs. If details matters go for the Schleich, if you prefer better proportioned models, go for the Papo or the Safari Ltd. They are both at the same scale. |

| I believe someone have got the bear and some other ones too, if you need some comparison pics… maybe DutchBear? I can recommend MPV [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Not the best prices but surely safe and you can get figures from many brands. Good luck _________________ Jonas Animals are my friends. I don't eat my friends. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

I don't have them here at the moment. But I'm sure others have some pictures of them. Schleich and Safari have/had also some wilbeests, maybe they are something for you? At the moment I also don't have seen ja good smaller hyena figure. And the mufflon is big compared with the others. Habe you tried spielzeug-guenstig orthe spielfigurenportal? |

| Thanks, Kikimalou - is this a good figure to buy (it is expensive though) - PAPO [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It is Big you say - Do you happen to have it? acn I see a comparison? ( is it a good sacling figure to work with all the others?) I have bought a white lion from PAPO and I regret it since it was huge!! and I have put it aside waiting to fill up with another white lion to come by. I would be happy to get a new Hippo and I wonder if the new Safari Ltd. Hippo of 2014 is a good choice and scaled correctly with my Sch. Hippo as well. Thanks, |

| Thank you very much Susanne! This site can help me a lot.
Since I relay my purchasing only on On line pictures and getting them On-Line - I really need to have a comparison as well. |

| Hi All, I am looking to increase the number of monkeys that I have and I want to create a collection with scaled up figures with the Gorilla from Sch. I am looking in to get this Urag Utan: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Is it OK in size or Big? Also this one - Gibon [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Or maybe this one? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Can I see both next to each other please? The Papo Gorila Looks Masive then the Sch one - Is there a way that I can see them both next to each other? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This female is scaled OK with Sch or Papo? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Or this Gorila is better then Papo's One? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And is it scaled correctly? I have seen that there is a Spider monkey - It looks Big in my opinion - Is it scaled OK? Is this female worth buying? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Is it a good figure and can it be the female of the Urang Utan above? This Chimp looks a bit odd but it looks like this is the only chimp around that worth buying - am I correct? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This can be a good female (I don't really like the baby though) probably the picture is not good. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This looks Cool - Is the Mandrill Scaled correctly with the Gorilla from Sch? both are Sch figures though. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]\ Last but not least - This Sq. Monkey [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I know that I am asking lots of questions - I would really appreciate your answers and opinion on each figure above and trully be woderfull to see all of them scaled with each other to understand which to buy and which one not to buy. Thanks for your time and help. |
