My Schleich Collection

Started collecting in oktober 2009 with Schleich wildlife.
Soon I also bought forest, marine, farm animals, dogs and horses.
I'm only collecting the figures with tag now, but got some without it.
Bought them in shops and online shops. But also second hand through ebay and other sites like ebay.

I made a picture of the display as a whole
and made pictures of every shelf.

No, all animals (except prehistoric)
so wild animals, pets, dogs, farm, marine, horses
But need a second display closet to put them all in;)

Very nice collections! I think the advantage of collecting one brand alone is the vitrine will not be so crowded so far.

Oh I also only started this hobby in August 09.

WOW! What an impresseive collection, - and in just over a year, amazing.

I think it took me almost 8 years to get that many

And a great exhibition, I love that cabinet .

About the tags , - I know I may be weird, but I always rip them off, I think they are not an advantage to the figuere

Then I have more shelfspace and can display them with more space between them
I think that the horses and marine have to little space now.

The cabinet is from a wellknow store from Scandinavia that you can find all around the world..
And the store name starts with an I... (dont want to make a commercial in this forum )

about the tags: I did so too with the first couple of figures..but most of them I have replaced with new ones with tags.. I know, im crazy

i can understand if you stop collecting in 2011, after all you need to collect some money first, don't you?

that could be a good strategy... buying all figures in one year and buying nothing in the next. in the third year then you just need to buy the newcomers of the last two years and so on... ^^

Thanks! yes, it costed alot of mony in 1 year..But when I collect something, I want it all;) Ofcourse I made sure I could pay the bills, rent etc
I will buy some in 2011, but think that will be mostly with money from my birthday in march.
Need to make sure I got some savings again. Schleich and my trip to South Africa depleted them;)
