Dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals series VEB Plaho / Marolin

A part of my Christmas gifts are six Dinosaurs from the "Dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals" series from Plaho / Marolin. I´m very, very happy and I love this , because these are very hard to find and the Plaho animal models are from my childhood. Now I´m missing only the giant sloth and the T-Rex in this series.

I just discovered the Plaho-figueres a few months ago, and like them very much.
The dinosauers are very rare, i have heard.
They are really great

The figures from our childwood are always the best!
I will never find mine because I never had it before, so those I have in these days are acting like it was my childwood, my anteater and bat, mainly, make me feel a little boy!

Those vintage models are odds for nowadays eyes but they are real treasures, with a big and warm soul inside.

I still have myself some old Starlux dinos, which I wanted to trade or sell one day... Looking at your gift... I don't know now...

Look here , the brontosaurus was sold for 111,01 Euro on ebay in 2009, - in unopened bag.

There are VERY serius Plagho-collectors out there

I think, these are the later copies made by Marolin, as they are looking too new, and the colours are different.
But that doesn't matter, as Marolin doesn't produce them anymore either.
As Susanne said, those older VEB Plaho's go up very high in price, as they are quiot rare, and hard to find indeed...
How much i love those nostalgic old brands like Plaho, Britains, Starlux(don't trade or sell them Christophe, you will regret it!) and all of those brands...

This Bronto is from VEB Plaho, The others are from Marolin after 1989, I think.

I thought the same about those dino-models shown here indeed, the Marolins do look much newer, the plastic is more shiny, and the painting of them is more deetailed too!

Those are not only models from Thomas his collection Philip, he does sell them for many years on ebay and around the world already!
By the way, you must had a lot of work displaying all of those Plaho Bisons on your floor, haha...
How many are they actually?

Unfortunately, I cannot say it how many these are still. I bought them once after the bankruptcy of an old toy business. However, I estimate 500 pieces. Should I count?
I require only 1.50 euros each. 19 pieces fit in a letter (500g). I can dispatch him for 4.50 euros. Everywhere there in the world.

Aha, i thought something like that, otherwise you could't have so much Plaho's...
Well, i have my bisons already, but i like the mammoth as i said.
But we talk about that in a PM in German, that makes things easier i guess...
