The River Otter tube

For ages I have been eying the "River Otter" set, but never got it.
But with help from Sue ( suebeedo) , today it arrived   

The "tube" is differnet from the ones I knew, which were of flexible plastic with fabric edges and a zipper on the lid.
This one is more like a box, where the backside is a small "play-board"

Unlike some of the tube-models, these are of good quality and marked K&M

Hmmmm ! Why do they have to stamp the batch no etc on the otter ?
