The year of the horse-horse from Breyer :-D

Some months ago ( before my tractor, camera and washing mashine broke down   ) I bought this unusual, beautyful horse

The box is beautyful, too, so I leave my darling safely there

Somebody in the Breyer-factury has a steady hand

Should somebody have one, which is removed from the box, it would be great to see more photos   

I love the way he's painted but I can't stand this mould.
Personally, I'm thinking of buying the "wooden" horse, Mù Wén Ma

If only his hind legs were not in such an unnatural pose...yes ! I know they can be trained to do it, but still

I like this one [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and only half as expensive, - but perhaps a bit TOO silly

And actually the funny part about this, Espirit was sculpted by Kathleen Moody, a sculptor known for putting very excessive amounts of hair on her models And here she used the huge amount of hair for balance. There's plenty of it

It's still way more natural than Esprit's pose - it's possible

Unfortunately that's the problem with many of Moody's sculpts. I don't even know how to guess

Very interesting model   The colouring is very beautiful, and interesting shades.
I'm not much into how a horse can pose, but sure I think this is a flashy exaggerated pose. But it fits an 'Art' horse   

I have only one model by Kathleen Moody - the Gypsy Vanner. Also extremely hairy and extreme pose, I think. But with a Gypsy I feel all the hair is ok   

Then who will be your next Breyer?

Maybe if i have ever the time for it..
That could be months... But i maybe will paint that horse his colour on a schleich model ...
