| I sadly haven't seen to many paleo collectors here really... But I know some of you will be interested. These last few days I have been bedridden from influenza and it's quite terrible, so you have seen my excessive activity here. To the main the topic, I asked awhile back if the Royal Ontario Museum Cambrian Primeval Predators set was discontinued. Many of you were unaware of what these figures are. ROM released a few unique Burgess Shale predators a few years ago and I bought them about 2 years ago. They are way overpriced and the shipping charges were excessive, and it took forever to ship, but it was worth the extra dollar and wait. But it seems, the set is no longer discontinued or it never was. Just months after I bought the set, the site went under a reconstruction and the figures were not on their site for some time. Anyways, I love these figures and hope you likes these. Opabinia, Pikaia, Laggania, Wiwaxia, and Olenoides are included. Many of you know I am a fish girl here at the forum, but I am a huge paleo fan, but don't speak much of this because we are mostly modern collectors here and that's what we most discuss. How big are they ? Laggania is roughly 5-7 inches long. Olenoides is roughly 6-7 inches long because of his tail. Opabinia and Pikaia are both roughly 3-4 inches. Wiwaxia is roughly 2-3 inches long and 3-4 inches tall because of his tall spikes. |
