| No offense, but I'm terribly disappointed with these. They are so inaccurate and ugly, one of the worst dinosaur figures I've seen in my entire life.I thought Mojo was going to consider our DTF suggestions. We were even going to help them with the accuracy.I'm not going to get any of these. I can just hope both Megatherium and Basilosaurus will be ending up being good figures. |

Although we also have some dino experts here, I have myself suggested Mojo to cooperate with DTF as they do with their wildlife range with STS. Have you ever thought why that cooperation never started? Have you seen the REBOR massacre on DTF? What is funny is that there's a lot of enthusiasm around it. I agree, I am also not excited about this Deluxe series, it was expectable more considering that Mojo is the company that makes some of the best wildlife figures. It has the best lion of the market, that had their gaur awarded as the best figure of the year, have some nice prehistoric mammals, etc. :) |

| Well. Not the most accurate dinos ever and a little um.. plump? for my taste. Though very easy to apply anthropomorphism to: Imagine a dainty hat, little gloves and a purse on the T-rex, or a business tie and briefcase. A top hat or bowler hat on the brachiosaurus, even an inspector's hat. Make the velociraptor into a nervous waiter or personal assistant or even maybe Sméagol from Lord of the Rings and hand him a ring. Put a parasol into the hands of the parasaurolophus, or perhaps a broach around its neck. The stegosaurus could be a football fan (either American or European, doesn't really matter.) And perhaps the triceratops could be a stand-in for Eeyore from Winny the Pooh, or a safety crossing guard. With a little bit of imagination, there are applicable uses for them. Definitely more children's play toys level than dinosaur-expert fanaticism level models. _________________ Laura

And it's not a 'Rebor massacre' we are sending our feedback so they can improve.IMO it's kind of provocative saying that Yutyrannus is accurate when it has so few feathers.I think it's fair.BTW this company will release a Tyrannosaurus and a Utahraptor. |

Thanks, actually I do know these releases, I only haven't shared them because my confidentiality was requested and I respect it. Though, we can read about it in a blog . I have also watched pictures of one of them but the respect for the work of a company is more important than any "fora race". About being or not a REBOR massacre, just read back the topic, remember that some posts were edited or deleted and two members banned. Just because a new company shows a dinosaur with less feathers than what was expectable. Well, my point is clear there and for me it is enough. By the way, the utahraptor is already being criticized although it is not known yet! |

The excitment is stronger than everything else! Why didn't you ask the T-rex? Is it already known? The utahraptor is still being developed, I am sure that instead of saying that it is a bad idea for a release, if you give politely your feedback, it will be an excelent figure. It was my fault bringing REBOR to Mojo's thread but I think it is better to keep both discussions in their respective places. Laura's comment is just explaining everything without any sarcasm and with a fine sense of humour. It works for Mojo, REBOR, Papo and even Safari... |
