TM 1994 Hyena quest !

I have a similar one. It's Toy Major, too. To me it looks most like spotted hyena of all the hyena species. It says also "hyena" on its belly, so I think its supposed to be one... But the paintjob is kinda off and un-hyena like.

Or are the T.M. initials for Toy Major? I've seen some people say Tom Major. But that sounds awfully... creative for a toy company.. And it reminds me of that David Bowie song too much...

I like this Hyena a lot. Great figure!

It also reminds me of the little-known "first" version of the Bowie song, a version he abandoned:

"This is Hyena Tom to STS
I'm running through the savannah
And I'm yipping

The model of this particular hyena is actually not even to bad, only he is missing the spots indeed...
