Recently I received a box from Kelly with loads of little figures of my favorite animals. Mostly ant-eating animals and foxes. As Foxes get the priority and I don't know if I I will find time to show everything during next days, I used my time to update first this topic. This was surely a very generous contribution to my collection and I appreciate a lot Kelly's gesture.
From left: Mattel Fox, Playmobil fox, AAA red fox cub, unknown grey/silver fox? and the famous mold which is sometimes used as a wolf and sometimes as a fox. The Playmobil is my fourth copy of this model and the wolf/fox is also not new but all other 3 are real gens. The Mattel fox is from a set with a Velociraptor and a human, JW playset. It is very beautiful, the AAA fox kit is something I've been wanting for a long time and the other fox that looks somewhat like a cat is a mistery.

Thanks Christophe, with all the fever around Mattel, even my collection of foxes have a Mattel figure now. It is a nice model actually, sized like a Starlux or a K&M bulk fox.

The vintage black and white is very interesting, it could pass -a bit- for jackal as well.

Congratulations, especially about the vintage white fox and the Mattel fox. Is the Mattelfox a solid figure?? Never seen before, it could be from a interesting serie by Mattel.

What a wonderful box! That mattel fox is really nice. I forget that some of these larger complex playsets that are focused on things I am not interested in sometimes have little animals that are very nice in their own right. The AAA kit also is great! The wolf-fox looks quite grumpy, or startled, or maybe only confused if he is a wolf or a fox.

The variety of foxes you have is fantastic. I am curious, what are the main brands who "forgot" to make a fox? I suppose you could count Britains during the plastic era as one of them. They only made a fox as part of their animal tree and only for a very short time. And are there brands that made many foxes?

The white fox has poor quality but it might represent something unusual, I'm still not sure what it is supposed to be. About the Mattel, it is a pvc figure like a K&M bulk figure but with a finish closer to major brand. I don't think you will find the series interesting. check a video review.

I have the fox and wolves, not sure the same exact colors but there are really loads of them, different materials and plastic finish too. This figure is inspired in a brande wolf figure but it is sometimes used a fox so I keep it.

The top 3 brands that strangely never released a fox are Noah's Pals, Funrise and Chap Mei. I still have a little hope I'm wrong about the latter. A brand that released lots of foxes is Safari Ltd, I'm showing 13, I'm not sure I have all the Good Luck Minis and I still don't have the new Fennec.

Hurray for Kelly, such a generous wonderful person with a real talent for finding models! So many lovely foxes and I'm so happy you now have the AAA fox kit! I love how it has a natural cuteness without being overly stylised and maintaining that level of realism!

I received a fabulous pacage from Roger which deserved a more effort from me to be presented but I'm not having much free time these days and I want update this topic as soon as possible. Among a good number of other figures, Roger included all these foxes in a trade. Actually, the word trade is quite unfair because Roger was enormously generous and these figures work as gifts for me.
I will start with the most special. It is a beautiful resin fox I wanted a long time ago but I declined it because it was broken and forgot about it. Meanwhile, our dear Annette [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and Roger conspired together and the fox was rescued and Annette restored and customized it into this beautiful piece poorly photographed by the happy owner. That's such a graceful piece, the final result is truly fantastic but knowing some friends were conspiring to please me is defintely the most important part of this story.
Roger enriched my Japanese section with a few foxes, first two are Epoch and the first one is a different color of another I got from Kosta. Though, the tiny Nature Technicolor is the star of this trio. Such a fantastic model, easy to understand why it was declared unanimously the 1:32 scale figure of the year.
There's also this recent Kinder. It is such a good model considering it is a Kinder egg figure. I'm actually excited about the new line of Kinder figures, those are very realistic ones.
