Schleich Holstein mare restoration

Today is a day of horse customs, so I am adding a repaint of Schleich retired Holstein mare, which I have received from dear friend Rogerio. I have been thinking about removing the mane, but this figurine has such a charm that I've decided that it wouldn't be a good idea.

I've tried to find some interesting coats for Holstein horses, but I haven't found any that I would love, so I've decided that I will leave the figurine as it is, just with a new layer of paint.

That Holstein mare is one of the Schleich horses that cemented the concept "Schleichhorses" in one word
So much charm and personality, - and you gave her a new life with beauty and the original charm

I am glad that figure ended in your hands, your decision of restoring instead of customizing was excelent. I find the Holsteiner mare an excelent figure, it almost doesn't look from the same brand has those braided horses we see on local shops these days.
What is already good doesn't need big changes, and to restore a good figure is not a bad thing, I already saw on STS some fantastic Lineol figures having new lifes due to the talented hands of their restorers.

She's gorgeous, great job. She didn't even need to change her coat at all, still a fantastic figure.

She is a good old model (not a toyisch girl thing)
You have upgraded her to a better place from;
old beat up model horse,
to nice backyard horse on retirement after a long carier

This mold is one of the better horses Schleich ever made. The details in the face etc. and you brought it back to life!! Wonderful!
