| Well, I lit a candle last night and I had my Schleich Tinker foal handy, (I have two of the tinker foals) and I put her neck just above the flame, and it got really bendy after a while! Then, I bent it to look like she was looking at the ground behind her to her right. I bent her legs, and she looks great! I also bent the Black and white rabbits ears, cheetah female, and a non schleich cat. I will get pictures sometime this week. But another thing is if you let the flame get kinda smoky, you can move that around the animal, and it looks really pretty. But dont let it get too hot! It will then start to bubble... |

| I have been wondering about that. I bought the older appaloosa horse and his front leg is bent weird so I am going to try and fix it. Someone mentioned a hairdryer in another post...has anyone else tried it?
Look forward to photos too! |

| Boiling water is my method of choice - no fumes. Just cut, heat, bend, then set in cold water. When you're repositioning legs, not just straightening warped ones, it pays to cut a little wedge at the joint. That way you prevent spaghetti legs that don't bend where they're supposed to. |

| Just pour, then hold the body part in place while you dunk it in cold water. If you let it cool naturally it often just bounces back. |

| I thought of boiling water to do my custom in which I´m working right now, but I think it needs lots of energy to do that... Anyway I haven´t tried the water, people say it works well. (At the end I used a Dremel for my custom model xD) _________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |

| We want pics! I do the trick with the hairdryer normally, but boiling water will do the same i guess... But some models bend back in their original position after some time, really annoying! |

| I've tried it to close the mouth of a hippopotamus and the result was a huge platypus! Fortunately Willy is saying that I will have a hippo again! |

| Fortunately I've never had problems with wonky legs or horns! But if I do, now I know how to fix it _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*
