The eyes of this amazing dino made by Lea are teddy bear eyes I think (the ones that you could actually use for plush toys), amazing idea and awesome effect indeed!!!

In most figures the eyes are painted and after painting you can add gloss (can be even nail polish)

I remember few years ago we had a short tutorial about painting eyes. Sumo described very nice technique of painting realistic eyes in big cats. But I can't find this topic now.

Ooh I'd love to do a horse eye tutorial! I'm working on a Breyer traditional right now, that would make a good topic.

I use a gloss varnish for the eyes and nostrils to create the shine. You need several coats for it to be even.

Agata used white paint to make a "faux shine" on the eyes of her takin. A great method if you don't have varnish on hand.
