| It's a white-eye, and being from a Japanese brand, I suppose that is a Japanese white-eye (Zosterops japonicus) _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| Lovely birds ! We call the little, yellow bird "Brillefugl" in Danish. It means eye-glasses-bird. They used to sell them as cage birds in the pet shops, but fortunately that has been forbidden, because people can't look after them ( they are insect eaters), and die on a diet of bird seeds _________________ SUSANNE |

They feeds on insects and nectar. They're still very popular as cage birds in Asia and sometimes are feeded with fruit juice, that is a poor substitute of nectar. I don't think that nobody that buy a white-eye is so dumb as for give it seeds! Only people that know what is this bird (and hence what they eat) would buy it, as they're much more expensive than common canarybirds, waxbills, bishops or zebra finches that can be kept with a seed diet. _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| So many lovely models, congrats .Its interesting to see that white eyes were available to but as cage/aviary birds on the continent as this was never the case in the UK.I have kept many cage/aviary birds over the years and never saw a white eye. |

| Great pics, thanks for sharing. Guys, can people share any websites (international or European) which sell the entire range of Eikohs? Any ideas? somewhere where one can pick and choose which models they want and order a few in one go? |
