A clouded leopard? Empty
PostSubject: A clouded leopard?   A clouded leopard? EmptySun Jan 09, 2011 2:10 pm

When I saw Ana´s poll, I felt that I realy wanted to try making a clouded leopard, ´cus they are such wonderful animals.

But I think I have to try again, cus it didnt turn out so good. I cant seem to get the face right. The head became to big, and the eyes look funny No Big cats just arent my strong side

But when I get the time, I´ll try again

Here´s some pics of him

Hi Anna,

your model is really beautiful. If you like to sell your model, let me hear. It fits to my clouded leopard from kaiyodo

Oh, I wish that was all it took! Unfortunately there are all these distractions... tv, books, you lot....
(Still, I did finally get around to starting my Gastornis project today, yay!)

And you still consider yourself a weak in making big cats? FYI, your clouded leopard is much better looking than that of the Safari or Bullyland's. You just did a perfect Clouded Leopard.

The people here are getting more and more talented. cheers cheers cheers

Thanx guys Embarassed

Your response to it is much better than my little brother´s.

"Hmm, doesnt he look a little stupid" Rolling Eyes Laughing

Well, like I said, I will make a new attempt, and next time, I will work a little harder on the eyes (I think thats the hardest part)

Ye, I dont think I got the colours absolutly right, but the clouded leopard comes in a variety of colours, from silver to golden to pretty deep red.

it´s the head I like the least. the colours of the head are to plain and the eyes are not good at al.

But I have started on a second leopard now, a walking one. I think I´m gonna try a different colour on this one, more to the red side, I think.

We´ll see. I will probably be finished with it by the end of the week :)

Don't be so critical at yourself, we can do that, if we are honest, haha. geek
The sculpt is not perfect maybe, but for that, the paintwork is really good, so what does it matter, you can't have it all sometimes... Rolling Eyes
