Papo Siamese cat ! Yesss !!!!

At long, long last !!! Yesterday I got the beautyful Siam kitty

I am delighted ! Thrilled ! Awed ! In love !    
The model is a slighly old type of Siamese, the head and ears are not as extreme as the latest fashion, and she is not as long-bodied as the ones that are champions at shows, - in other words : GORGEOUS cat    

The ears could have had a bit more dark on them, and the "socks" a bit higher, - but I LOVE it  
What also makes me so impressed is that Papo's artist has succeeded to give an impression of the dense, silky, rather short fur. Even the cowlicks on the chest are there

Lovely model!!I too like the old style Siamese,so much better than the extreme Siamese of today!

I love extreme looking creatures when it is a consequence from their natural evolution. Human extremes I don't appreciate at all. I know you wanted so much and you waited almost a year to get this Siamese. I am so happy you've found it and it is great to know that you find it a great figure once you're very knowledgeable about cats. Thanks for great pictures!

Wonderful Susanne! Congratulations! I'm jealous. I can hardly wait to get that figure. The Papo Siamese Cat and the CollectA Fallow Deer are the only two remaining from this year's releases that I'm super excited about, but haven't acquired.

You are right ! The colour of the model in the catalogue is more realistic
Perhaps I should get some more models and try to repaint, - if only I was not 99% sure I will just ruin it

The markings could've been a bit more prominent, but yeah...she's still pretty.

The Coloration on this one reminds me of a Stray Siamese Cat that wonders around our property. My neighbor Feeds it as if it were her pet, but occasionally it causes problems for us. (Like the time my Moms Boyfriend left the window open on his car and the cat left a nasty surprise on the seat)
