1:22 scale female bongo

Since I haven't been able to much work  with molds recently I was able to get some work done on the bongo (the winner of the poll of what I should make next). She still has a lot of work to go. I might make a nursing calf to go with her. Please feel free to criticize I would like to improve her.

My only comment is are the eyes slightly uneven? I hate to bring it up after realizing how much of a pain those are to work with.

Thanks everyone. I am glad you all like her so far. Laura, I am not exactly sure what you mean (placement or shape of the eyes?). I might make a mold, but it isn't definite. I made a few small changes so I decided to add a few more photos and one for scale.

It's looking nice. I'd like to see your main reference photo, but the main thing that stands out to me is the thigh looks like it cuts back too much where the flank joins leaving that top part of the leg a little small.

You've definitely got a natural feel for this.

Thank you MiniZoo and Laura. Thank you for the advice, I will fix the leg connection to the flank when I do my next alterations. Sorry but I do not have one main reference photo. I just use a bunch a different photos to help me and the pose just forms naturally.(I usually browse flickr)
I have been looking at the pictures and something seemed wrong with the proportions of the model. After some research I have decided that I think the issue is the legs. I did some quick work in Photoshop to show you all what I mean.(Please excuse the white bar). Do you think it looks better/more accurate like this?

I think your photoshop adjustments are an improvement.

I've attached some photos - the first is a close up of the leg/flank area comparing with yours:

I think this highlights what I mentioned before. Also you can see the small fold of skin attaching the thigh to the belly which is missing on your model. Another consideration is that the belly is lower down, so your model may need to gain some weight :)

The next picture shows the body shape nicely (looking from a slightly higher angle though). The main thing I notice is that your model looks a bit bloated. There is a hollow area behind the rib cage that could be adjusted for:

This sculpture looks great so far! The expression and something about the way the neck is held make it look alive. I can't offer input without researching longer but MiniZoo's advice seems good.

Thank you Jason for all the helpful advice, and thank you Andy for your kind words. I tried to make all the changes you suggested. Anyone can say if there are any more changes that need to be made before I texture the bongo completely.

Beautiful sculpt but I think the neck is slightly too slim and slightly long....
