Or, and this would not be the first time I've seen this, they just had those models available and used them in the pictures, but the real figures would be very different and less well-done. From what I've seen of their snakes and piranha set, they are not well-made figures, so the details of the K&M would be surprising. I get next time 2 keychain fishes by Wing Mau :) |

| I'd love to see your Chinese goldfish, Andreas. I found a set of 6 crabs- Wing Mau Aquatic Museums per the seller- that look very like the goldfish set. Same sort of interlocking bases. |

| Okay, I'm at my brother in laws and playing on his computer lol. I got a different result searching for Wing Mau on this one for some reason. I found the goldfish set on their product list! It's under 'Figurines' and the product number is WM-5566HP . I haven't plowed through everything, but I did find buckets of animals; there was one with birds of prey WM-1568PG/D6; one with monkeys WM-1453PG-D6; and one with (rainforest) reptiles WM-1707-PG/D6. Is that what you were interested in Saarlooswolfhund? I didn't go through all the figurines. I did see a physical address, a phone number, and a contact Mr. Philip Wong who is Sales Director. I didn't see a list of retailers or anything like that. Apparently they will attend a 2015 industry expo in Hong Kong, so are still current. I really don't know how to go further with this. If I had a tax ID number to buy wholesale, I'd try contacting them, but I don't know that they even sell on that scale (might be worth trying, I could always sell the excess). I wonder if it would do any good to approach a local flea market or dollar store vendor to see if they could order from them? I do have the 2 figures I saw on eBay on order, so I will post pics when they get here. We'll see how they compare to Yujins. (I don't happen to have the Yujins of the two breeds that are coming) |

| I got my 2 fishes. I've taken pics but don't have a camera cord to make it talk to the computer, my brother in law had a bad test and we're staying with him until they get the biopsy done and see what happens. I'll see if I can find some way to make the camera and computer talk, if not as soon as I can go back to my home quick I'll get the cord. They're smaller than the Yujins, not be a lot but enough to be noticeable when together. The sculpts are still really nice, still used a translucent plastic for the fins (and bubbles) , but the paint jobs aren't as nice. Not bad, but you can see overspray on the eyes. One is missing his acrylic rod, I've contacted the seller to see if they have one. I do like the bases with their rocks/stumps and plants, and they do interlock. And based on these I still want the rest of the set. I spoke with a flea market vendor who carries the Safari line, and he wasn't hopeful of results. He says you would need to find out who is their North American representative, as they probably only sell by the shipping container full so tens of thousands of dollars per order. |

| I had to come home today, so I'm on my husband's slow old computer. I will see if I can get all my pictures loaded here, but here is a comparison one- Yujin Redcap Oranda, Wing Mau Bubble Eye. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Here are some pictures. One of the fish is missing its support rod, maybe I can find a clear swizzle stick or something to make one. Of course, with their deformities, both celestials and bubble eyes tend to spend much of their time resting on the bottom, so maybe it should stay that way. The seller didn't have another rod, or any more of the figures. I will be continuing to try and find someone who can get them. They are still an active item on the manufacturer's website. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]If wanted, I can post walkaround photos of them also. |

I look forward to seeing them--so far, any close ups of the figures I've seen, like the piranhas, have not encouraged me. |

| I found someone in Hong Kong who could find for me the Wing Mau set, so now I have them. I'm happy with them. I'd place them behind the Yujins in quality, but ahead of the ChocoQ and unknown figures. They are slightly smaller than the others, and a softer plastic. While overall I prefer the paint jobs on the Yujins, I do like the Wing Mau bubble eye a bit better- the Yujin has overspray on the translucent bubbles, which make them look infected. On the other hand, the Wing Mau celestial has more overspray on its eyes than the Yujin one. And the Wing Mau black moor has about my favourite paint job of any of the figures- he's going orange like so many do. Two of the Wing Maus have oddly shaped dorsal fins- the redcap oranda and the black moor. The bases on the Wing Maus are the same blue/grey gravel as many of the Yujins. The removable stumps and plants are nicely done- some of the plants look like anacharis, like some Yujins have. The interlocking feature could be workable in some displays. The pegs are an especially soft plastic that may bend. Based on these, I would try some of their other figures. I took pictures, but put them in this thread: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I can edit them in here if someone wants them. |

| I see they have a new (lesser looking) goldfish set... I wonder about contacting some Hong Kong vendor about them? That's how I got my set- an eBay vendor in HK found them for me when I asked.don't have the funds at the moment to go shopping myself or I'd ask Do we have any ambitious members in HK? Or would a well established vendor like MiniZoo ask? |

| Yes, I was sort of wishing there was a forum member in or going to HK that could physically visit them. I doubt it though. Paying an HK eBay scalper's rates if they're willing to find them may be the only way.
I remember sbell said something about trying to contact them without result also- I suppose he's as big as MiniZoo since he also sells online. And the photos seem to indicate they deal in North America, so if anyone could get an in it should be him. |
