FINAL RELEASES - CollectA 2015: WILDLIFE - Orangutan Male (88730)

On a sad note the zoo lost one of it's most amazing and popular animals this past May, Orson the melanistic Jaguar. He was 21 yrs old. He is really missed by me, his keepers, zoo regulars and visitors who were always in love with him! Since there is a SD Zoo animal figure, would love to see one done of Orson! Those that are interested ck out his pics/story on line.

Do the keepers know this awesome news? Maybe they should suggest one of the females.

Thanks for posting the photo Dr Jones! That's a pic of him when he was younger, like I said you should look at some pics of him now (sandiegozo.org and their ape cam), with the larger developed cheek pads and longer dreadlock hair! He's a big boy close to 300 pounds! Saw him this past Thurs and will see him tomorrow!

First i thought: Bad pose,but then i imagined an orang trying to walk,..it's looking like that! Needs the arms to balance. amazing details, though i have to think of a certain movie called "Link"

Has anyone tried to hang this orang on a tree branch? Does it fit or fall down?
