| I shot this Okapi for the LG latest competition. But I'm posting them here along with a couple of other pics I took outside. Enjoy... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| Nice photos, I like the idea of the okapi, my only suggestion for the next photo would be to have it in a forest setting as it is normally an animal that doesn't inhabit seasonal forest, but all in all, it is one of my favorite photos from the post. |

| Very nice shots Holly, and nice light! Yes, i would make another setting for the okapi too, as it is a jungle-animal. Maybe with some gorilla's, chimps, or bongo's in the background, or the other way around... |

| AMAZING!! Wow, I'm at a loss for words. I really prefer these outdoor "dioramas" to indoor artificial ones, good as those often are. The focus, the lighting... Just wow! By the way I just noticed my signature isn't showing, anybody know why? |

By the way I just noticed my signature isn't showing, anybody know why? Thank you Marina, glad you liked them! Yeah, just go into "profile" then click "Preferences", then in the list tick "Always attach my signature:", hope that works. |

I can't see anyone's signatures either. Does no one else have them? |

It is two very different things, this is photography of animal figures in nature, a diorama is a complete different thing, is apples and oranges, just felt i needed to clarify that for you, a very good diorama, in scale and realistic, might take a very long time to create, and they will allways be artificial, since that is the whole point of a diorama, but the real good ones, are as realistic that you can't hardly tell the difference, can't use toys for those. |

Thanks Danny, yes inside Dioramas are completely different to photos taken outside with toy animals. :) I hear you've made a zoo, do you have pictures of it? I'm planning on making one, not that I want to copy yours, just for inspiration. |

One thing, did you remember to press "save" after you ticked the box? I'm always forgetting to do that. |

Hi Danny! Just a question... Those 2 wonderfull kudu's on your avatar, are they belong to your handmade models that you had made for your zoo? |

I think that Danny is still working on his zoo, as it is going to be huge, and i don't believe you could possibly copy it, as it is all handmade. There are pictures of deetails and the groundplan/map on LG, but maybe Danny is willing to show us some of the progress and work here on the forum, that would be very nice! |

No, I had the feeling it was a large zoo, but I mean I wouldn't copy his ideas. |
