Wonderful Susanne! Yes, the other flying squirrel is only inviting some friends first and then he will fly to Denmark. Just like you I also bought the standing one and I am also identifying it as a red giant flying squirrel. I love the proportions of that figure although the size is a little large when compared with other brands. Hmm, I thought these pups were hyenas, maybe they are African wild dogs, I don't know if any of these species pups can fold their ears. AAA is always a little ambiguous with these two species. Curious also that they are marking that hedgehog as a porcupine, however, no doubts that it is a hedgehog. Another interesting fact is that these figures are marketed under Mamejo brand.

| Thankyyou, dear friends Roger, you are right, - it says "HYENA" on the puppies , - but neither hyena- nor wild-dog puppies have the ears like that Arrh, never mind The wold dog loves them, and I love wild dogs

:O Saw now this flying squirrel for the first time. But I know that there is often a size problem with the AAA animals. Have you another comparison photo with an schleich rodent for example, cause I always find it hard to compare it with lego Thanks :)

Here she is with a Schleich squirrel : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Not far off in proportions, if it is a Giant Indian Flying squirrel, - their length of head+body is app 48 cm, the tail is a further app 50 cm However, Safari has a REALLY large flyer : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Perfect comparisons! Safari Flying squirrel is one of the few Incredible Creatures I know in real. I haven't bought it but I loved it! The AAA giant flying squirrel is a little large when compared with brands like Schleich, surely Schleich will never release that species and if they do it, it will be surely larger than the red squirrel but surely smaller than the AAA figure... except the head. I also think this figure is a little large but not excessively and surely a very interesting species. That's the reason why I have figures like this flying squirrel, Safari American badger, grey squirrel, oppossum, etc. Large but great additions.
