| Hello Susanne,
I spoke to Thomas and he confirmed that the elephant was produced by Schleich. The elephant is from the 50s, but unfortunately not marked with Schleich. He is about 6.5 cm long and 5.5 cm high. Is apparently one of the very first figures from Schleich.
I would be interested if anyone else has this character?

| Thank you very much Franz. The auction is really very interesting. I was curious and I wrote the seller for more informations. I get an answer at once. He is also member of STS and I also have ask for permisson, if I can write all these information here you can read below: Here is the sellers and STS member answer in German and my translation in English: Hallo, ich habe den Elefant, etliche Biegefiguren (auch Original verpackte in Blistern) wie auch Minis und paar weitere extrem seltene Schleich Stücke von einer Frau angekauft, die in Schwäbisch Gmünd lebt und diese Stücke als Kind geschenkt bekommen hat. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Also at facebook [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Viele Grüße Now in English: Hi , I have the elephant, some bending figures (including original packaged in blisters) and minis and some other extremely rare Schleich pieces bought from a woman, who lived in Schwäbisch Gmünd and these pieces has been given her as a child. All the things were in her drawer for over 50 years. There were really only pieces by Schleich inside. I even at a Schleich collector (Thomas W.) fore more informations and he confirmed me, that the elephant is made by Schleich . Please take a look at this report, there are still more pieces photographed that I had purchased at that time together.. | Yes, that would be fine, but I don´t know a member with this name here at STS. If he is here a member, it would be great, when he read this topic.
Perhaps other members know him ? Perhaps our admins can help ?
