Unknown German elephant *UPDATED Oct 19, 2105

Does anyone know the brand of this made in Germany elephant?
I believe it is from the 1970s.

What a discovery

It is the first time I see them, hopefully someone will know.

How big are they?

Similar size to the Merten elephants, probably 1:43 O scale.
They are about 9cm long by about 5-6 cm tall.  These pictures are from an old auction, unfortunately I don't own them.

I guess you don't know the brand? Is the moose hollow or solid?

Solid hard plastic. I don't know the brand alas.

No no, they are really different. The Hoefler one is smaller and soft plastic.

The material of the unknown German ones are more like Vitacup models.

By the way, on the box of Jean Hoffler zoo I see the animals are painted, were they also available in painted version like the one from the picture on the box?

I never saw one painted like that.

Hartung Spiele Berlin have a similar set but the figurines looks different

Yes, the models came in painted version, but the paint adheres very badly and easily falls off the soft material

I recently obtained two of these unknown German elephants, one is painted the other is just plain ivory plastic.  
They were made in West Germany, does anyone recognize the brand from the sticker?
