"Jewel", the Siamese cat, - another awesome repaint by Kosta !!!!

As you can see on my Avatar, I LOVE Siamese cats !
Kosta had noticed this, and also how delighted I was with the Siamese from Papo, which was launced late last year.
He also noticed that I thought that the paintwork was not nearly as nice as the one shown in the catalogue  

Being Kosta, he decided to make a repaint for me  

Her name is Jewel, because she is such a fabulous little gem  
I am 100 % sure that NOBODY in the world has a model of a Siamese cat, that comes anywhere near the paintwork of Jewel !!!!
All models I have seen untill now are just a beige cat with dark brown points, but that does not show the fantastic sheen, softness and quietly varied colours of the fur of this breed of cat.
...hmmm, my English fails me, but I hhope you understand what I mean  

How on earth Kosta did it, - but Jewel has a fur with all these gorgeous properties.
Again he made a model come alive

Of course she arrived in a box for jewelry

She moved into my small-items shelf, where I pass many times a day and can talk to her

But soon a lot of friends crowded round her, - one of them came all the way from Germany !!!!!  
I did not want the original Papo-siamese to think I don't love her, so she joined Jewel on the shelf

He arrived here yesterday, - a gift from Niklas, Yvette's son !!!

at last a funny, little detail.
It seems that I was not the only one who commented about how wrong the picture in Papo's catalogue was, - in this year's catalogue they have entered a picture that looks more like the actual model

What an awesome story, an awesome walkaround, an awesome model made by an awesome person for an awesome person.

I have just one reaction for any Kosta's repaint: my jaw fall down to the floor and I try to find it.

Wow, I've just found a jaw on the floor. Now I don't know if it is mine or from Anasta!
Kosta just repaint figures the way I like, it is made to look realistic and not only to look pretty... and the result is just of a superior quality. I also think his choice was perfect once I like that mould with that small head what together with Kosta painting, helps increasing a lot the realism of the figure. It is hard to see a toy and easy to see a real Siamese cat in these pictures. Congratulations Susanne, nobody deserved it more than you!
By the way, it is pleasant to see that you received this cute gift from Niklas, knowing us his Mother, it doesn't surprise us he is a very nice and generous boy!

I knew, that Jewel will be just in the right hands, on the right place
