Golden Schleich Tigress Repaint- First repaint

This is my first repaint ever :) This tigress was a Schleich White Tiger that a got a couple years ago on a school trip to Taronga Zoo. Her stripes always bothered me and honestly, I think Golden Tabby tigers are way prettier than White XP

The stripes are a little dodgy but the paint was running out and it's late DX I'll fix it up in the morning. It took me a good hour to get a decent colour but I still think the stripes are a bit dark :/ But she looks alright in real life, it's actually more red than what the pictures are showing.

Any critiques from the experts? Advice would be greatly appreciated, this is my first and only figurine but I had fun making her so this might turn into an addiction XD

Your repaint is a huge improvement on the original - I didn't think I liked this mold until now.

It looks great! I'm not an expert, but based on the photos I just pulled up, I'd say your colors are a very good match.

I am curious - for the white parts of her fur, did you leave the old white model unpainted, or did you paint over?

I repainted the whole thing with a base coat of white. My white paint didn't match the original colour (it's a really bright white compared to the original model which is more of a creamy 'off-white') so I figured it'd just look better to go over it in white :)
