I am a little confuced. The figure I received today are different from the picture in the catalog. I wonder: have Mojo changed the model after 2010 and have they been keeping the original number on the new model?? My horse has both front legs on the ground, and the tail and the right back leg are connected. The horse in the catalog is lifting his right front leg a little, and his tail is free. My horse is marked 2010 under his belly, and the tag tells me it is no 387069. This is a mystery to me. Help. Please.

Yes , they changed the model, but not the number in 2013 , - look here : http://toyanimal.info//index.php?title=Mojo_Horses It is such a darned nuisance when brands change the model but not the item number. Safari used to do it a lot But at least you got a fine, retired model , which may become very rare, because it was only made for 2 years _________________ SUSANNE

Thank you very very much, Susanne, for solving the mystery. The link is very useful with pictures of both models. It seems to be the same with the chestnut model: 387084 and 387084b. I don't understand why they are not changing the number when they are changing the model! Yes, I agree. I have got a nice model, by accident. But I will try to get the 2013 model later.

The 2nd Arabian is not a new mould, just an update of the previous mould, is not even considered a replacement but just an improvement of the figure. Mojo think that is fair to give the same number once it doesn't represent a new release but just an update. Commercially, it was more interesting for Mojö to turn a little update of a figure in a new number and calling it a new release as other brands do, though, knowing James, it is just his honest way of working. For collectors it is better when numbers change, of course but we also often complain when some companies release exactly the same figures or just update them slightly and give a new number presenting it as a completely new product.
