Present from CollectA

Yesterday was a good day    I received a parcel from CollectA with some gifts!!!    
They're 2015 model samples, the big catalogue, the small one and a bag, as you can see on the picture bellow.

I must say that they are really excellent models The moropus, the daeodon, the woodland caribou, the chiru, the kiwi and chinchilla are all of the masterpieces. The work on sculpting (specially textures) is excellent, and also the painting, that is really really good. There are some details, as the mouth of the moropus, that I have no idea of how have they made the mould for    

The two felidae are not as good, but also his level is high. The sculpting in the smilodon is as good as in the another models, but I'm not so happy with the painting. With the amur leopard there's something that not fits with the head. I think eyes are too separated one from another.

I think it's a luck to have those models in our vitrines and shelves

Joan, what a wonderful gift from CollectA! The models look very nice. I'm especially fond of the kiwi - but that's because I really like the animals from Australia and New Zealand Congratulations with your additions!

Do you think CollectA knows my address?
Those are fantastic figures, I want most of them and it will be a big effort for me to get them. Though, they worth all money once they look excellent.
I think sometimes they make figures in several pieces assembling them later. It turns the molding process and sculpting more versatile, I think. Congratulations!

The same for me Rogério I looked at the topic and thought "Why this kind of things never happened to me????" and I answered myself "They are just waiting for my address..."

Congrats, and I agree, something seems wrong with the leopards eyes. However, so many great models there and such a great package!

I'm wondering if the leopard they sent has the same solid spot paint issues on the back legs that some of ours had (as described in another thread).

The Chiru and the Kiwi! I'm still in need of them.

Probably that is the system they use, but assembling lines are not visible as happens with Papo. Collacta's manufacturing process is really good.

I am so sorry but I just can't post may pics here you guys really need to upgrade this page because there are many of us that can't post any at all and congrats I also got pretty much like toured this past week COLLECTA made my day that day love you COLLECTA and best of all the SHIRU is one of a kind!!
