My 2012 additions

This month was very good for many collectors as we could see on forum And also for me
I took photo of all my additions from January and 2 animals from December : White tailed Gnu from Joan    and Schleich swan. Animals from this month are from different brands: few  Schleich, several CollectA, one K&M and one "made in China" (thank You Rusty for wombat and skunk :) ).

Wonderful additions Ana, there are so many great animals available now, much more than in the past I think

Of course the Whitetail Gnu from Joan is priceless but the others are also beautiful models!
For instance I love the CollectA Siamese cat with those glassy eyes,it's on the very top of my wishlist. And what's most important,all these beauties are captured in a wonderful picture,I enjoyed it very much.

It's interesting opinion and I think You are right Tim :) But thanks to this forum I know that in the past were many wonderful brands like Lineol or Britains. I don't know if selection of species was bigger these times but surely figures from older times have many advantages, Lineol made animals in great poses and good proportion and Britains was all in one scale, what seems to be impossible to do in modern times. Some of Lineol figures are so beautiful, I love especially sitting gorilla male These old brands had many models but now they are harder to find, especially Lineol...

Anyway now indeed is more to collect: older brands + new animals = a lot to collect Shame that older brands become too expensive for me
