1:20 Jaguarundi (Puma yagouaroundi)

Let me introduce you the next member of FFP:  The Jaguarondi, a small cat unique in its appearance among the felids as when moving it more closely resembles a weasel than a cat. They have slender, elongated bodies, short legs, a small flattened head, long “otter-like” tail, and a sleek, unmarked coat.

I am still considering selecting the color, more inclined to the  grey variation…

A JAGUARUNDI

Agata made also jaguarundis and fortunately I have two of them.
I remember asking her to do that species once I don't believe we'll ever see that cat among major brands, it has everything to be rejected for a company manager. Not enough known, not very distinctive although actually it is and probably not as attractive as many other felines. But I love all species and jaguarundis are not exception. Another interesting work to follow, I also like grey, mostly those darker but this one is also very nice.

Looks like this is gonna turn out beautifully. I just ran across this thread by accident, as i have "jaguarundi" as an notification setting on search engines. If you plan on making more than one, what would you sell one for?

Not being familiar with figure making, is this part of a mold, or is this the actual piece? What is it made out of?

For now I do not intend to make copies of my models until FFP is concluded. If for that time you are still interested then I will be happy to sell you a painted copy.

It is the original figure made with epoxy clay.

You captured perfectly the shape of a jaguarundi! This is the kind of animal that a good painting doesn't save, only a good sculpt could turn it recognizable and I think you managed it very well!
I feel some confidence in your comment what shows you're also very ahppy with your owrk... that's great and fair!
