Susanne's 2010 additions

Hi, all,
A while ago Ken Yeo showed us his lovely collection of rabbits.
I liked the Futura-ones very much, and Willy was so kind as to send a link to a seller in Singapore

It was hard to pick the ones to buy, so I ended up with a small lot with some rabbits in

They have arrived, - the first split second I did not know what it was, - some plastic-eggs !
But inside were these little cuties :

It was a lot of fun to get all the little parts transferred to animals

My japanese is also not the best, but i buy my japanese animals by sellers at ebay. Most of them speak english. I have never had a problem with the language.

Maybe I should try a little harder.

I'm searching for a kakapo and I've found that this brand has it. Today I tried to find in internet any portuguese shop who sells it but I think that is more easy to learn Japanese!:)

By the way Susanne, what species is this spotted lizard?

Maybe... I have no idea! I'll search in CQ or Googling!
Furuta has a lot of outstanding species!:)

Your lizard/skink is actually a Leopard gecko.

I thought I would never collect fish, but some of the young gentlemen in this forum know how to tempt an old lady

Mihnea was so kind as to send me this very charming old fish, which is supposed to have been one of the most terrifying predators in very olden times. But the poor creature was lonely, I just had to find him a little friend :

(Yes, yes, I know the orka is not a fish, but don`t spoil the story, friends   )

I was surprised by the detail of the orka :

Roger found me the charming creature here to the left. It has the extra charm that it was painted by Maia + Borges in Portugal, even if it is not written on him. Now, I had to find him a friend, even if only from Schleich. Their problem seems to get eye-contact..

The funny pancake to the right also is a proud Maia + Borges-painted fish. His new friend makes up for this by being slightly bigger, even if he was made later and in Germany:

And then I just HAD to get this little beauty. Look at those eyes

I have started a fish-collection !
And the grey whale that also made her way from Portugal is pregnant ! I hope to be able to show her with her offspring soon

Good fish collection.. You want collect sharks , dolphins, whales, and jellyfishes, every that swim and breathes in water?

You can buy a white shark, and some dolphins, stay always awesome in a fish collection.. You will collect too seals, and Walrus..

You have a fixed ideia, or you will buy consuante the circumstances?

I have not seen a jellyfish
But I have two starfish from Bullyland

But I have the octupuss, the seal and baby, sea-lion, sea elephant and the mantee, they have been here for many years. And Roger also sent the walross

Yes, I suppose I will have to get them all eventually, - it is hard work to be a collector

Right now almost all my money go for christmas presents for Johanne, Mummi, Futte, Siggi, Fidda, Mikke, Caesar, Artemis, Bina, Freya, Ida, Spotty ... they are all my critters , - and of course my mom and my son must have a present, too
