It's a schleich mare drastic custom - resculpted by Koni Miniatures and painted by me.

It shows and horse looks soo good in the snow.

She is wonderful !!! Look at that mane ! Look at the wrinkels as she lift her head, - she is so totally alert

And beautyfully painted too , - she certainly looks wonderful in the snow

And today - I am going to post something unusual for me - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - you asked for it in your topic .. so you shall receive it ( well not exactly Marwari - he's in the ugly stage now, I will post him when he will be worth to show ) so today :


I know I never posted them but today I feel like it's a good day to start.

First of all - I made finally the big upgrade in painting hooves !
Yesterday ( or in the night between yesterday and today ) I started to playing around with brushes and Breyer Marwari body and I decided to try something new.

So as you can see - hoves looks realistic ( or only to me, but anyway I like them better than previous )
For comparison my previous technique of paintng hooves :

With this one - I am not 100% happy but it's good one !

Very interesting!! Thank you for sharing these pictures! :) I think the first 4-5 tries look best. On the last three pictures you can clearly see the not straight growth rings. These must be in one level to the ground. They are ab bit too pronounced if you know what I mean.. No offense meant, hope you understand..

I think you misunderstood me a bit. First 3 photos and then photos 8-10 are my new technique.Rest of them are just samples of my previous techique.

but since you asked,
I tried to pick two pictures that looked perfect to me.
I have no idea if they are part of your same technique, but these two are the ones I like best.

I think these are the new, painted with new technique, that's what i understood
I like the new hooves very much and old were nice also. The new technique seems indeed like a step forward, congrats Aleksander!

This looks really good. could you share a tutorial about how to paint realistic hooves? I like them a lot!

Meet Rudolf ! Hanoverian hound by Noémi D. Soós

I recieved him some time ago as a payment for painting slot. ( Yes I accept trades instead of my paintworks )

Rudolf is in 1:9 scale so he match perfectly to most of my traditional scale horses !

He became my favourite really quick !
I made him his own collar ( keept in hunting style - as Rudi is hunting dog)

I love this model ! And I can recommend him to everyone !
What's more ! I am offering painted copies by me right now ! All you have to do is just message me and we can create an nice deal for you !

I think it's a beautiful dog model! Noemi did great job sculpting it and the colurs you painted are lovely :) is the collar made of leather or sculpted in clay (apoxie?)? I think it looks very good
I have very few 1:9 horses so at the moment I'm not looking for 1:9 dogs, but I may consider such model in future it is really nice!

Model is still in progress - tail need to be changed a bit, but I am soo glad about this one !
She's going to be lipizzan brood mare from Piber stud, with all the brands on the face, withers and thigh - I can't decide between depigmentation on light grey or dappled grey ( really dark one)

What do you think ?

Beautiful! I love the new tail and mane! I would go for light grey with depigmentation I think most Lipizzaners grey out pretty early in their life so brood mares are mostly white/grey already

The mare is beautiful!! I like these relaxed lying down horse models!! The new mane and tail etc. looks great!
Rudolf is very cute! I know this breed, they are true hunters but very sweet dogs, nicely captured in your photos!
