This is probably for three reasons:

1st: I took the photo from a a long distance (croping it later) and then the proportions were maintained.

2nd: Once painted, with so many dark spots in the head, the optical impression is it is smaller than it really is (what also happen to real jaguars)

and 3thd: (the most important one, I think) following your advice I materially reduce the size of the head
lol!

And so you did do double great work Applause

By the way, I had similar problem: first my wolf — Willhelm — had too small head. His current one is the second head. Work at him seemed very bloody process Laughing
