| I am now addressing one of the most beautiful big cats over the world for my Felidae Family: The jaguar. I am trying to reflect his particular anatomy. His Big head, heavy body, short legs, short tail. These are some of my guiding photos [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And this is my model... for now… [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| you see!
I was also thinking that. As I said in other topic, I have the tendency of making big cats with big heads and big eyes....that is why your comments are so useful for me.
thankyou!!! |

| Definitively the head of my jaguar is a little bit big. However I am fearful not going too far as I think one of the characteristics of Jaguar in comparison with other big cats like leopard is his big rounded head. See... Leopard: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Jaguar: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Do you see what I mean? I hope be able to reduce his head in the right proportion and not emulate what the the Jibaros people from the Jaguar Kingdom did for centuries… [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.](Sorry for the sharpness of this photo) And see Here how some weeks ago our admired Harry´s friend tried to reflect the jaguar spirit I have pointed (big head...really): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Any way, I count on your sharp comments

| This is a fabulous model of a jaguar In a flock of so many species it is better to overstate the characteristics a little, and here there is no doubt that it is a jaguar The paintwork is fantastic !!! I love this model |

| I agree with Susanne, jaguars have relatively massive heads when compared with other cats, so, in case of doubt, it is better to exagerate a characteristic because the opposite way can compromise the traditional appearance of the animal. The massive body and strong legs will help a relatively big head look not so huge. Remember, head is massive, large nose and strong jaws area are enough to make it look more massive. Isn't the tail a little long? Lowering it you can compare with hind legs size and check if it is too long or not. |
