| If you just intend to display them then i'd say leave the tags on, as far as I know it doesn't damage the paint. Although if you do choose to remove the tags the price shouldn't really decrease, Schleich retain their value pretty well. :) |

| I always take the tags off. I see no reason to keep them on They get in the way when you display them - you can't see the other models behind. And the tags leave behind a nasty sticky residue that yellows and can discolor the area the tag was on. You can always remove the tag but keep them in an envelope if you want! |

| About the value , - some of the very old ones with the small tags are more worth that without tag. But I am sure it will take many, many years before that happens with the present models. As Lee Ann says, they are in the way on the shelves, and more important it looks messy . Keeping the tags may be a good idea. I used to do that, but threw them away, because I realized that I would never have the patience to find out what tag belonged to what model again |

| I remove the tag, they get in the way and are distracting. Plus the sticky residue can be pretty strong on some figures-I have to wash them after I take the sticker off. |

| I will keep them on the models. I just think it will keep the value to me more when i ever (maybe) want to sell them. With tagg i think to me i can ask more money then without the tagg. I only take it of when it almost falls of by its self and then i put it in a bagg with all the others :)

| I always take the tags off my models. For me the models have higher value without the disturbing tag. I don't care what will happen with the value in the future. I don't think I will ever sell any of the models, but my descendants can do whatever they want with my collection. (I have 7 grandchildren). I'm trying to teach them to appreciate the beauty of the models and of the real animals, so perhaps some of them will become collectors. I keep the tags in small plastic bags, marked with the date for bying and lists describing which models the tags belongs, just in case.. |

| I take them off as well, but some of the ones I resell (if I get dublets) is with tag and sometimes the people buying toys prefer them to be "as new" so much, that they prefer the figures with tags.
On a sidenote is there a difference on the tags to every model - I can only find a difference in "price-colour"? |

| In my opinion a real collector never remove the tag!

| They are thought as newer with tags, the older the better. So for your super retired ones, please leave on the tag, but for the other ones, they should do fine. I do find that the horses get permanent stickiness and such when they are left on for a while, so keep that in mind. |
