Walkaround of the CollectA Lusitano Stallion (Grey)

Finally I have this guy!

One thing that really "stands" out - unlike my buckskin, he stands!! He's made of much harder plastic than my rubbery buckskin.

I really like his paintwork actually. It could have more detail but for an OF he's not half bad. This is such a dynamic sculpt as well - just love him

Congrats LeeAnn. It's so gorgeous. The material is the same, but the formulation is upgraded, hence it is still light, yet hard.

But I think we will never agree about shading  
Perhaps it is ok, but not as dark as this. It should be very, very discreet, if it is there IMHO

Sorry, OF means "original finish" - no changes made to the model after it left the factory

Nice to know that these early 2nd generation horses were updgraded in terms of manufacturing. Actually, many traditional collectors of Schleich and similar horses prevented in a first stage to get these CollectA horses because of the way it was manufactured. Nice also to see that Lusitanos are quite common in toy shape, I think the breed deserves it!

Seems like CollectA decided on replacing the rubbery plastic with the better and harder plastic on to newer batches
