That's already a tradition with Schleich, I can't tell the exact year but I remember seeing them wrongly labeled in a catalogue: Previous leopard was labeled jaguar while the jaguar was labeled leopard. :)

They shouldn't just market Maya the Bee to preschoolers... They don't know how many other age groups are addicted to it.....

You can add Bane and Lex Luthor to the DC Comics line.  After finding out about the Marvel line, I went to see if anyone had seen anything on Twitter or Google about them.  As far as I can tell there is nothing on them yet besides which figures will be released.  I did however find a picture on Schleich's likes on Twitter with the Bane that has his signature black mask and almost wrestler type costume and Lex Luthor in his newer version of his armor suit.

Also about the new Marvel releases.  They will be
- Black Widow
- Captain America
- Doctor Strange
- Falcon
- Hulk
- Iron Man
- Spider-Man
- Dormmamu
- Green Goblin
- Red Skull
- Ultron
- Venom

I believe more will be released this year though because the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been out for such a long time.  One because I believe they will at least do current movies and maybe even movies from the past few years and hopefully some of their Netflix and TV shows that fall into the same Cinematic Universe like they have with the DC Movies. Two because many people don't know Dormmamu unless they know Doctor Strange.  I understand that the Doctor Strange movie is coming out in August but I think they would reserve the Dormammu/Strange promotion for the actual movie figures instead. Three you're missing humongous characters like Thor, Hawkeye, and Nick Fury.

I do however wonder if the Marvel Comic based Fantastic Four and X-Men will make their way to Schleich, and if they do would Fox make a deal with Schleich to make their movie figures like Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto, and so on.

I need Thor and Loki!

I agree with Gwaine.  Thor and Loki are missing from an otherwise great line up!  Perhaps they are waiting for Thor 3: Ragnarok?  Not only that, Thor is one of the main Avengers too!  

Can't wait to see their Hulk figure!  I hope these figurines will be in scale with one another?

And yes, scale is very important for comic book characters.

Here are the Bane and Lex Luthor figures with some new and current DC figures. The next picture is of the Batman v Superman figures.  Both pictures show a difference in the boxes for the DC Comics line than last years models.

And as for the emails...I sent an email to each of them, Marvel, DC, and Schleich and have yet to get a reply from any of them. I figured it would be so from Marvel and DC as it may take them awhile to even find out what I'm talking about, as they sell so many figures with different companies. I know it takes Schleich a long time to reply to anything, so I'm not worried bout that either, but as soon as I get any information, I'll be here within minutes.

Ther's apparently a lesser interest in Schleich these last years but the fact is that 2016 topic is already the most visited of ever on STS Forum with more than 34.000 visits!

I sent them THREE letters last year, and still no reply.

Those modern DC renditions look pretty good so far! Especially the Henry Cavill likeness from what I can tell. I sure hope the new film lives up to the hype? Especially with Civil War looming directly behind it!

Now is the time for people like us. The Marvel and DC movies and television shows are all awesome. The universes amaze me more and more as new movies come out. It's something I use a lot of my time to keep track off.
