Seems to be from the same mold as 14726 which was released in January, but that's about all I can add.

The item no indicates that it is made for some kind of event scratch

I don't think, that it is a german special. Another country perhaps, like the black bull.

He is cool! Can't say i'd want to pay import costs to get him though. Wonder if they will make a lioness and cub like this too?

Hello, this special edition lion comes with the new wildlife set releasing next year; it is made up of this years watering hole, along with the new river and waterfall that are both releasing separately next year. It looks like there is a white lion cub too! Very Happy
