REBOR Utahraptor “Wind Hunter” walkaround by Kikimalou

A long time ago, in the early cretaceous lived a big big walking ”bird” who chose the name of a US state as stage name. He decided to be the ”Raptor of Utah”.  

Like other dromaeosaurids, Utahraptor had large curved claws on their second toes. One claw specimen is preserved at 22 centimetres (8.7 in) in length and is thought to reach 24 centimetres (9.4 in) restored.  

Although feathers have never been found in association with Utahraptor, there is no reasons to think our big guy lacked them since other dromaeosaurids had feathers.  

Nevertheless, the toy universe host naked (Safari Ltd, Toyway) and feathered (CollectA) Utahraptors… Rebor is on the feathered board!

Not really a toy (It can’t stand alone) not really a model (Forelimbs and jaws are articulated) it is a kind of ”Action model”.    The price confirm the name since it is cheaper than a model but more expensive than a toy.

It’s my first Rebor and I’m very happy I caught him.

I have not enough time to work on TAI for now but all my pictures can be used on the site

Thanks for walk around, I am stupidly curious about these figures, I like them.... yes, their design, even it is not always known by scientific rigor, it is very attractive to my personal taste.
I am not yet considering getting one of these but who knows some day I open a "little" exception.
One thing I learned today is that some dinosaurs had some power making, not bad when they're regarded as non intelligent creatures, I haven't chosen my own name, for instance.
Yes, Susanne means Starlux saltoposuchus, one of the most remarkable designs from this industry!

Nice walkaround, i am curious though how yours is keeping his pose?

When i recieved mine it took abouth an hour before it started sagging and was burried face down on my display shelf.

I have the same problem I solved it by placing a thin nail under the abdomen, which is pushing
him to original position
