I'd love to know your opinion about these Rebor figures, there are very mixed opinions about them.
Which of all Rebor do you suggest to someone that only wants a single one.

Umm, wow Roger...  Not an easy question to pick just one.  

Rebor is currently my favorite Dinosaur company. (Followed with a close second is Papo)

Of all its current models, if I had to pick just one, would be either Ceratosaurus or Acrocanthosaurus.  Those two are probably the most creative original pieces and most scientifically accurate.

My sentimental favorite and personal bias is the King T-rex. (My favorite Dinosaur since childhood)  I just wish they would make a second T-Rex figure that could stand dynamically without a support.

Rebor has had some controversy in the past.  Especially among other Dinosaur collectors.  I'm also a member of the Dinosaur Toy Forum and have read all of their posts pertaining to the company.

The issues arose when Rebor introduced themselves as being Museum Quality Replicas with scientific accuracy.  I'm no stranger to paleontology, therefore upon seeing their initial pieces released, I too, knew that wasn't entirely correct.  However, they were a new company and were excited to show off their new product(s).  I think their approach offended the more verse collectors which sparked a bickering match that lasted months.  I stayed clear of the arguments which I feel both sides were in the wrong.  I don't think Rebor meant any harm in their approach but they were instantly targeted for scrutiny nonetheless.

Any how, despite the issues, (which I never held personally or participated in), I fell in love with the company for their product quality.  If you'd ever held one compared to other figurines, you'd know what I mean.  They are a cross between a toy and a high end collectible.  Its Rebor's attention to detail and paint apps that drew me right in!  

Their sculpting and paint is fantastic!  IMO, they are a Sideshow quality collectible but for a fraction of the price.  Rebor is a mid-range priced company.  In between Papo and Sideshow.  Since they only release their pieces every few months, they aren't too hard to keep up with.  I also love their bases (which some are becoming dioramas in the future) and their packaging.  I know packaging is not always a sell point, but I love the box art (fossil skeletons) and the science index card that accompanies each figure highlighting details about each creature.

Some collectors have had QC issues with some of their dinosaurs not being able to stand either with or without their base.  Luckily for me, I never had any of these problems and all of mine stand perfectly; base or no base.  (Minus those where their accompanying base is required for posing)

Now about their scientific accuracy....  A major issue it seems with some to this day to the point of trolling.....  I don't buy them for that reason.  I look at their pieces as paleo art.  Granted, some are more accurate than others which is always a plus.  But if one could look past that and appreciate it as a mere collectible (or toy), then I think there would be no issues at all.  If these were going up as a 1:1 scale in a museum and reported to be accurate, then of course I think there will be numerous legit complaints!

Perhaps Rebor will become more accurate in the future.  Feathering these beasts (or the lack of) has always been one of the biggest gripes.  I'd love to see their take on a feathered T-Rex which I know a "Rebor-ized" style would blow its competition out of the water!  Again, they are still a young company and like all young companies, they need to produce items that will sell and make them money.  Therefore, keep them from going extinct too!  And feathered dinosaurs aren't exactly a popular notion amongst most people it seems.  So naturally, I think they will play it safe for a while and make something that will guarantee to sell.  They are growing and will suffer growing pains.

From what I've heard, their products are doing well and their fan base is growing!  I think after they are more firmly planted, they'll start becoming more daring and begin creating products that will please both the masses and the hard core dinosaur enthusiasts too.

I'm personally looking forward to their future products.  I hope they start making some more herbivores that are alive and look like they're living their normal daily lives.  I also hope we don't see frightened examples of these animals which is a common expression with some Papo Dinosaurs that have always bothered me.  

Rebor has hinted at an Allosaurus, Triceratops bull, Brachiosaurus, and a Stegosaurus!  I'm savoring the mere thought of them for a great 2016!

I think these two REBOR are also my favorite, unless judging from pictures.
The initial plan of the company was to start a line of hunters but they are diversifying their range and surely some herbivores will be released. I agree with everything you're saying except about the frightened Papo herbivores, I love their expressive stances and I think it makes them really unique. Papo dinos collection is very close to action figures concept, thus they give some drama to their figures, if there is a T-rex hunting, surely prey should be worried about.
I am almost sure that if REBOR keeps growing, they will soon or later add a new T-rex to their range, this is an animal absolutly fundamental to keep good sales and all companies make several representations of this creature allong the years.
I accept that REBOR aren't accurate enough to claim Museum quality but how many museum lines we know with less accurate figures? If I am not wrong, Schleich replicasaurus was one of these.
Also, REBOR bears a presentation and level of detail adjusted for a prestige line, more adjusted to be sold in museum shops than in trivial toy stores. I can read it also in your comment, so, I think most collectors were quite unfair to the company, mainly when we know how hard is to start in this business and how easy is to make some mistakes when we're just starting. I am glad REBOR figures are getting popular among dino collectors and we can see a general improvement in their figures, so I think we all win when we give our support in a constructive way to these companies.

Well said Roger! Perhaps if some collectors expressed their concerns in a more professional and constructive manner, I don't think there would've ever been an issue in the beginning. I also think that is why Rebor has stopped visiting forums which is a shame since this particular place also suffered because of it.

As for your opinion on the Papo herbivore expressions, I never thought about it that way. Those Tyrannosaur models are a thing of nightmares!
