Can't wait to get two 2016 Standing tigers!!!!!!! (Will get the new Mountain lion & new chimp, but those are the only ones, I will be purchasing for 2016).

Is there any special reason that you're getting the chimp or you just find it as promising as tiger and puma? I am curious to see here a walk around of the new Papo chimp, I desliked previous versions and I use the last Schleich male. We're in a tiger topic.

It feels like walking around in a museum with the lights off.
You know there are wonderful things to see, but you can't because it's too dark.

You're right, we need another walk around or luckily, the starter of this topic can reupload them again.

Hey Roger! First of all, wishing you a Happy New Year! Yes, I like great apes and at least from the pic the chimp looks good! I wish it didn't have the baby though. If you're talking about the Schleich male chimp from a few years ago, I have a suggestion to make it look better, is to paint the face and ears a dark greyish black. Looks way better, I did it to three of them and they look cool! Sorry to deviate from this "tiger thread". Yeah, like I said, yes, from the pics they look promising and only three Papo I'll be purchasing this year. Since I'm "deviating" I also posted on CollectA Nilgai Bull a book that may be of interest called Princeton Field Guide : Bovids of the World: Antelopes, Gazelles, Cattle, Goats, Sheep and Relatives by Jose R Castello. Again, healthy happy new year to you and your family!

Repainting is something that I cannot do, the chimp I am talking about is this one.

Thanks! Also hope the Bovids of the World book may be enjoyed by some of the forum members. Yes, the Schleich Male Chimp. That's the one. OK, I understand, but mine look really nice with the face and ears totally painted blackish grey. Again, happy hew year!
