Papo 2015 Roaring tiger - Unpainted model - Walkaround by Kosta

Yes, that is not a photoshop photo and that`s not a model, repainted by me as white
This is unpainted model of the Papo 2015 Roaring tiger.
I bought it from a seller in Aliexpress and I got it :)
He sais, that he has them from the Papo factory in China.

This is my first unpainted version of a model..and it`s a model, wich I like so much.
And it is interesting for me to have it.
And I hope, it will be interesting also for you to see it

I realy like models with only white color. Maybe becouse like this, they look to me as a statues (sculptures)
and maybe becouse like this we can see the texture more clear.
And for me, Papo is the best with texture of his models.

I made a walkaround of it, but first let`s start with a photo from the seller :

The model cames with not glued jaw (becouse furst, they paint it, and then glue it), so here we can see how it looks inside

Ohmygoodness, this is just the perfect white tiger for you to repaint!
No problems with underlying colors to paint over, just a white canvas to start one. And of an great model also!

Aliexpress sounds and looks like a great site to order from, but I am scared to even begin doing that, because i don't now how to XD

I like rohlings of great models, because you can see exactly how good it is !!!
Of course a tiger is much more beautyful with the gorgeous colours of the species, but look at all the deatils in the fur that one does not notice in the painted model

Kosta, I think rohlings are very interesting figures. First, we have to remember that during earlier years of plastic, many brands sold non painted figures, sometimes with different plastic colors but unpainted. Among several examples we have Marx or the Portuguese Dinamização. I love these as much as the painted ones. Actually I think like you and the real sculpt is much better appreciated when not painted. Modern figures, with all these details of muscles, texture, etc., could perfectly result very well unpainted and often they're found in their rohling stage like yours. I have a Bullyland fox rohling, not minimally comparable with the specaacular Papo tiger, but one thing I am sure, it won't be repainted even if the Artist is as good as you. If you don't have more rohlings, wait for one of these with paintloss from auction websites or so to repaint, this one works much nicer as a pure rohling. Obviously it is a suggestion, you do exactly what youw want. Thanks for taking so nice pictures, it is not easy with a white figure without painting but it worked very well.

Now I lurned a new word for me: ``rohlings``  
I know, tiger without strips....it`s not a tiger    , but I realy like this one.

And some of you are right, this model will work very good for repaintg (painting),
but I don`t plan to do that.
First, becouse I realy like to have this Papo model in rohlings version..
and second, becouse this model was actualy a bit more expensive for me, then the original painted model.

So, when I repaint the Papo roaring tiger ( becouse I plan to do that in the future), I`ll use a painted one, which is cheaper to buy in Bulgaria

Yes Roger,
I also love vintage plastic modes, which are not painted.
That`s why this model reminds me of them :)
For example, I was so happy when I resived the unpainted Starlux gorilla from Kiki :)
