Twice a year the international Collector's Fair certainly is the spot with the best assortment for lovers of antiques, bric-a-brac or second-hand trinkets. Have a look at the pictures to get an impression of the sheer size and atmosphere, or to remember what is was like.

Stretched out over five halls and divided into sections, more than 2000 participants present hundreds of thousands of articles. There are separate sections for toys, glass and crockery, books, coins, postcards, archaeology, flat items, design furniture and fifties objects. For every subject there are national and international specialists present, so it is very likely you will find here what you are looking for.

I only get a little bit frustrated by checking their archaeology section and seeing all kind of palaeontological finds. Wrong section, people

Last november and april editions Ana, Karin, Martijn and i met up to have a drink and check out some of the stalls together. That was great fun.

Jaaa ik ga echt m'n best doen om te komen. Heb m'n tentamens dan al gehad, dus dan heb ik als het goed is ook gewoon tijd :') En zaterdag hopelijk de workshop bij Anna, dan kan ik mooi weekendje Utrecht vanuit m'n ouders doen, is toch wel weer stukken dichterbij dan vanaf Deventer! Jeej ik heb er nu al zin in

Ja want ik had nog niet genoeg boeken.. *Zucht* En oude dingen wil ik het liefst zelf vinden natuurlijk, alhoewel ik ze dan niet mag houden want alles is eigendom van de gemeente blabla *daar gaat je Indiana Jonesbeeld van archeologie :')*

So sunday it is.

I hoop voor de ene deel dat het zaterdag wel bij Anna word gehouden, aan de andere kant ook niet. Camping zoeken is geen probleem, alleen kunnen we Gaell geen hele dag in de caravan alleen laten denk ik.

@Dutch Bear: Heh, er is niets met de zaterdag gebeurd, al is dat vaak wel een dag waarom we veel dingen doen zeg maar XD

This next weekend is Verzamelaarsjaarbeurs, the collectors fair in Utrecht again.
We had a topic on this already but it has gone somehow.

Europe's biggest Vintage Collectors Fair! Next event - November 21 and 22, 2015 at Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, Netherlands. Over 2000 exhibition stands showcasing an amazing range of vintage, retro and antique collectibles and memorabilia.

So not only toys and animal figures.

I might be going there both days. But on sunday for sure. And hope to meet up with Anna, Karin and Martijn again.

Gosh ! It must be fun

I think this time I will not be able to come. Saturday we have a sculpting workshop, this is a whole day almost. And Sunday there is competition in the riding club and I participate too. Although the competition takes usually about half day I will be rather tired after that.

Next time I try to come. I think Karin had a plan to come on Sunday

Yes! Whole weekend away from home, Gaell at parents-in-law, saturday Anna sculpting and sunday collectors fair!!!
