COLLECTA 2016: SEA LIFE - Dugong (88766)

I have pleasure in announcing the release of the Dugong! Another animal yet to have been made by one of the major brands.

Dugong! How nice! I think it is very good model!

the body seems a bit too short for me but less than for the manatee. It is a very charming model

That's the first dugong among major brands, in this size maybe only AAA made it?
That's an interesting species to my collection although I am not completely impressed with it.
Julie will feel surely happy with this new CollectA figure.

Finally after some Manati-Figures, we get a Dugong It's for sure on my list, even when it doesn't fit with my only other Sea Cow that I have, the Safari Manati :)

Thanks Donny! AAA is about 16 cm so they're more or less similar in size. Though, the CollectA figure seems a better rendition of this particular species.

Seems we have here a Dugong Lover, so you may will like these pcitures I've took a couple of Years ago at Toba Aquarium...

Wonderful Animals, so I'm also happy about Collectas Dugong. I think, the body length is correct. The Toba Aquarium itselfs has his own series of  Kaiyodo capsules animals including a dugong. Altough I have bought many casules, I didn't got it  Nevertheless I had luck-one of the capsule machines was working correct and gave me three capsules for the price of one ! So thats why I spend a lot of money and I got many very nice Kaiyodo figures.

Tahr is about 8cm and wombat is about 6cm long.

There are five dugongs in Human care at present time-one female at Toba Aquarium, a pair at Sydney Aquarium and two single animals at Seaworld Indonesia, Jakarta, and Underwaterworld Singapur.
