Don't know yet, I have none. I was waiting for the Schleich to see it in person and decide which one I'll get. . I haven't seen it yet.

A bit scary with those eyes, and showing teeth

The best wombat model , IMHO, is the one from Southland Replicas , but that is another sub-species, of course

I test my self-control everytime. I have to, since I'm primarily a record collector and that is a far more expensive addiction than animal figures  
Also, until recently I was more focused on Africa/Asia/Europe and there's always something interesting to buy. I have only 4 Australian animals at the moment!

Australian animals were the first I got from CollectA because I had only kangaroos from Schleich and I definitely had to fill that gap in my collection (I also got the lovely Platypus from Papo).

However, I know what you mean about self-control. I try to resist buying figures that would not fit in my collection because I want it to remain harmonious.

For example, I bought the 2020 Schleich snow leopard but I regret it now, because its fur pattern is not realistic and it does not fit well with Papo's one that I prefer (so I sent it to Caracal to get it repainted). I did not buy last year Schleich lynx because it is too big and I may not buy this year reindeer for the same reason.

I try to restrain myself but not for money reasons, I just don't want to buy unfitted figures that I would not be able to display next to mine.

I understand you try to be reasonnable because of your other collecting hobby. I used to collect video game figures and I once paid one of them 200€ (actually it's a figure representing the character whose name I am wearing as a username) and one of my tiny Pokemon figures I bought as a child for less than one euro is now worth 300€...

We are lucky animal figures from major brands are so cheap.

I really wanted a lot to see the Schleich wombat in comparison. Thank you!
It is assumed that I am not an enthusiast of figures with a caricatural touch. Obviously, if the main features of a certain animal are exagerated, it will turn the animal apparently mor identifyiable and often more attractive to the targeted final clients.
I think Schleich's is not at the level at the other three (CollectA, Safari and Southlands) but it is enough decent to put my atention on it and eventually add it to my collection.Afterall, Safari's and Southlands are not the same species.
Unfortunately wombats are smoking a lot these days, life is not being easy in Australia to these animals.

I hope next year these companies make a huge tribute to the incredible Australian fauna and provide us loads of unusual Australian species.

Well, wombat fathers do not care with their joeys. Maybe it explains why she looks so exaust while he seems quite happy. Though, you've found a very meritory excuse to convince me finding it.
Safari's figure is really good but if it doesn't mean a much bigger finantial effort to you, you should consider the Southlands instead. Safari Ltd is a very well stablished brand and Southlands is a new company really needing our support to continue providing these high quality figures. Just a suggestion, choice is yours and I hope Safari forgives me.

But you made it really good, with a lot of information and with wonderful photos ( I don`t know why you are still saying , that your photos are not good... ) ... So maybe , when you have time and if you have a passion for this, you can make another walkaraound of the Collecta one I am sure it will be great too

Like most good walkarounds it makes us me see things we did not catch when just looking at it with the bare eye

I was sure , that with this situation and staying at home, we will find a good things to do ..
Although , this ''must staying at home'' makes my ''hot blood'' feeling crazy ... : like '' panther in cage''
... I think, I also have to start again with walkarounds ... and maybe repaints
