Yes, they are made of a kind of plastic : hard but slightly bendable , very nice

A model has haunted the edge of my attention for years, but I thought I would never be able to find it. So it stayed at the edge...

But miracles happen  
Last week I saw her on Ebay.co.uk , and at a very sensible price  
Three days later the mail-lady brought her here, - look ! Look

The amazing dingo of a brand I don't know ( CHINA)

Look at the proportions, the face intent on the hunt, and perhaps most of all : The energy and wonderful way she moves in complete ballance ! The tail being a natural part of the movement

Four nice adds Susanne  I enjoy everytime I discover a models you sought after for a long time. We all have some models that are in our mind long before we can catch them. Great dingo

I am so sorry for being contagious, though, I think we can call it a dingosaur anyway.

Before buying a retired model, it is a good idea to check an extra time if it IS retired
Two of the "prehistoric landscapes" trees" from Safari have already ornamented my shelves for a long time, but I knew there were three.
So one evening when I was browsing Ebay.co.uk , I was delighted to find the last one
After buying it, I wanted to see when it was retired, and discovered that it is still in the catalogue, only now they are spread upt among the pictures of the animals
Well, fortunately it was only the shipping which cost a bit

Here it is, - the Tree Fern no 301529 , - a lovely plant :

Here they are all three. The one with the long trunk is an Agathis Conifer no. 301629, and the low one ( Which I DO think is now retired ) is the Cycad no 301429 :

I hope Safari will make more of these lovely, not-too-large greenery

On Friday I also got a wonderful parcel from USA
Two of the great STS-ladies have gone together and helped me get the last three USA-Yowie animals
So thenks to Kelly (Pipsxch) and Laura (Wilorvise) , I now also have my first caracal, the adoreable fennec, and the beautyful little alpaca, and the series is complete

The fennec immideately felt at home together with the other fennecs on the shelf

The alpaca fits perfectly with the other from EIKOH

But this was FAR from all  
Kelly had got me a whole batch of yowies, and even included a beaver and a penguin of her own :

BUT there is more
LeeAnn had also contributed to the parcel, and made me a wonderful Siamussy, and Kelly has sent me a reapinted pinto and a repainted seal-point longhair cat  
There even is a fox for Roger from Kelly

Look at this gorgeous horse from Greenbriar Int'l. masterly repainted into a dark sooty buckskin pinto

The fun time cat has got a comletely new life !! WOW !

Last, not least, - LeeAnn has made a Schleich housecat into the most lovely broen-masked Siam...I would never have thought it possible
