I completely missed this topic and was most delighted when I visited a Müller store in Germany (Kempten, Allgäu) about a week ago when I noticed some Tiptoi figurines I did not recognize. Of course I was immediately sold when I saw that wolf, which looks way better in real than on this promotional picture. I was not really impressed with the brown bear and the eagle, but the wolf, orca and polar bear sure looked really nice. I don't remember seeing the dolphin, seal and macaw, although I'm sure they had them as well. I'll make a little walk around of the wolf in a bit

they seem to release animals two times per year so is there another set due? However, given that they have more or less covered all continents I think only Europe is left.....? or will they expand on exisiting regions? Anyone have any idea or perhaps this is the end of the expansion which would be a shame :-(

I just looked at the shop and it looks like there are some new sets, (one with horses, one with some animals at the vet and one with dinosaurs) I've never seen these before, but maybe they are older also the figures are the ones that were released in the prior years. Maybe we should just wait and see what will happen in Nuernberg.

Does anyone know why Ravensburger is (thus far) only selling part of the tiptoi range in The Netherlands? I compared the ranges between countries and Germany has everything (it is the home country, of course), but then The Netherlands has all the ranges, except the America range. I also tried to see if I could order an item from the America range through the German website, but they won't send abroad... Perhaps someone on here is willing to help me get my hands on one? #daretoask

From what I can tell by the pictures, the orca looks quite nice. I do believe it's less good that they made it with an open mouth. It looks too small in relation to the body. And the paint on the head isn't quite as good. It also lacks a grey saddle patch behind the dorsal fin and white underneath the tail flukes. But I'm a very critical consumer when it comes to orca figurines! ;-)
