Tiptoi 2016 Wolf Walkaround

Last two weeks I've been driving around some European countries, including Germany. For the very first time in my live I visited a Müller store (in Kempten, Allgäu), and it was even better than I'd imagined I left my father at the music department, which was next to the toys department, where they had put on the newest album of my favourite band! So I went off to search for animal figurines, and before I could find any Schleich figurines, I came by the Ravensburger Tiptoi display.

I had no idea that Ravensburger had released any 2016 Tiptoi figurines, so I was very delighted when I spotted some figurines I did not recognize. Between them I found this gorgeous wolf figurine, and at the moment I saw him, I forgot all about that strange orange spot and knew I had to take him home! I'm really happy I saw the real figurine before seeing the promotional picture, because he looks so much better in real!

Here's a quick walkaround. I still need a macro lens and in the future I'll add some comparison pictures of him with major brand wolves. But this is it for now, hope you enjoy as much as I do <3


Although wolves are my favourite animals, I find anatomy a very hard subject (with all animals, actually xD). I'd say the head of this wolf is a bit on the big side, but furthermore it looks great. But I'd like to leave further remarks about anatomy to the experts Although this wolf is a simple grey wolf, the painting looks rather nice, especially for a brand that isn't one of the major companies (or maybe it looks even better than some of these ). I especially love the look of this wolf. I'm so happy I was able to add it to my collection so suddenly!

He is delightful  I truely love his expression  - it looks like he has a good sense of humour

It is very interesting that there are new TipToy models this year !
I will have to find a way to update TAI...you didn't by any chance get a brochure ?

I'd love to help you, but I didn't get any. I searched for a brochure in the shop, but they only had a general one about Tiptoi, which didn't feature any of the animal figurines, unfortunately! But I'll keep an eye out, maybe I can find anything about the 2016 figurines on the internet!

Julie, I almost forgot that Ravensburger had introduced a wolf this year. Bojan presented their new figures here! They got anonymous meanwhile.
Figure is generally very pleasant, it has a nice pose and a very nice painting as you mentioned. I also like its willowy shape.

I agree with everything you said there.
And about the orange mark...
With only a few little changes, this wolf could easily be promoting PostNL.

I recently acquired this wolf myself and totally agree that it is wonderful! (Other than that dreadful orange spot, of course.) Congrats on getting it and wonderful walkaround!

i dont know how i feel about that ugly orange dot..
but i dont know.. maybe if i see him somewhere, i will take him home
